Clarification of main requirement/theme
The stated requirement/theme is
Empower business conversations using Facebook Messenger by building innovative solutions for conversational commerce, customer service, workplace collaboration and more.
Does this mean that the submission must be integrated with FB Messenger (such as a bot), or can it be to rethink messaging itself?

Hey Weston,
Interesting question! You do need to use FB Messenger, but if you have an unusual idea and want to run it past me you can email stefanie@devpost.com with more info on the use case.
Thanks,
Stefanie

“solutions for conversational commerce, customer service, workplace collaboration and more” seems very broad. Does this mean that our project should address one of these areas, not all, right?

Hi S N,
yes it means your project atleast getting addressed to one of those area
Thanks,

For a chatbot that assists users navigate a particular business product, do we need to implement it with a pre-existing company's API or it should only be a display of functionalities and conversation flow?
Stef Maccarone Manager • about 6 years ago
Hey SN - Muchammad is correct. Your solution just needs to respond to one of the topics, not all three.
Nafiz - You don't have to implement it with a pre-existing API, but the chatbot should still be functional. You could use some made up data if necessary to show how it works.
Thanks all!

Does this mean that we must choose one of the three? What if i wanted to do something fintech related, for example?
Stef Maccarone Manager • about 6 years ago
Hey Lee - as long as it's business-related then it's allowed. Think more of the biz side of fintech rather than the end-user.
Thanks!
